NSA Mid-South MWR Department is proud to serve our military community living in and visiting the mid-south.

We look forward to working with you!
Naval Support Activity Mid-South is located in Millington, TN – just 21 miles north of downtown Memphis. Headquartered at NSA Mid-South are Navy Personnel Command, Navy Recruiting Command, and the Navy Manpower Analysis Center, as well as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Finance Center.

We are continuing our goal to become the Navy’s Premier support installation by striving to maintain excellence in our facilities and services. The efforts and accomplishments of the NSA Mid-South team have been recognized and rewarded the past several years by repeatedly earning both the Governor of Tennessee’s Quality Commitment Award and the Greater Memphis association for Quality Leadership Award.

NSA Mid-South’s mission is to support the global warfighter presence. More than 6,500 military (enlisted and officer), civilian, and contract personnel are assigned to/work on base, and another 40,000 or more retirees & veterans in the greater Memphis/Mid-South area utilize the base support services.

What is Navy Morale, Welfare and Recreation?
Naval Support Activity Mid-South’s Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department provides high quality programs, ranging from child and youth programs, athletic and fitness programs, entertainment, food service, lodging, and a wide range of other recreational, social and leisure activities. Navy MWR’s mission is to enhance and improve the quality of life for our customers. MWR is the first choice for Sailors, Retirees, their families and Department of Defense (DoD) civilian employees.

Access to Navy MWR facilities, programs and services is generally restricted to Navy MWR authorized patrons. Personnel authorized to use MWR activities and facilities include active duty members and their families, reserve members, retired military personnel and their families, and Department of Defense Civilians. However, some services and community events may be open to the general public as advertised.
