Freedom Fest will be held July 2nd in the recreational field behind the Mid-South Conference Center. Change due to the poor field conditions of the Quad field after recent rain where originally planned.
Please join us for NSA Mid-South FREEDOM FEST Wednesday, July 2 at the recreation field behind the Mid-South Conference Center. NSA Mid-South 2025 Independence Day celebration is sure to be a big hit with the entire Navy Mid-South community. Bring the whole gang out early and plan to stay until the roar from the crowd following the fireworks show is over. Event features outdoor concert • food trucks • beer garden • vendor booths • bounce houses • water slides • play area • face painting • carnival games and a spectacular view of the City of Millington fireworks show. Gates open at 6 p.m.

Please note the follow policies:
•The event is free and only MWR authorized patrons with valid military issued ID card
• ID card holder MUST BE present. Event is not open to the general public
• No coolers allowed (included small soft coolers)
• Clear bag policy, be prepared for bag search if carrying a diaper bag/kids bag
• Lawn chairs are allowed, lawn blanket allowed
Items will be subject to be searched on arrival. Upon arrival, please follow the direction of our Security team
• Outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed. Water and small snack bags will be allowed.
• Food and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase
• Debit/credit and cash accepted
• No pets allowed
• No weapons, fire arms, knives allowed
• No illegal substances
• Parking will be available in the big lot off Navy Road.
• Please display your handicap placard prominently if you wish to be directed to handicap/special needs parking and/or viewing areas available.
• Shuttle service will be available to and from housing
• Rain or shine event. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside the N-82 Gymnasium.
