Youth Center

Events

The Navy Youth Programs provides a fun and safe environment for base eligible youth throughout the year. We are accredited through the Council on Accreditation and affiliates of both 4-H and Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Youth Center (YC): activities and special events to include board games, air hockey, dramatic play, puzzles, foosball, video games, arts and crafts, and computer play. The School-Age Care Program (Before and After School Program, Summer Day Camp, and Vacation Play Days) is offered at the Youth Center.

The School-Age Care provides programs that effectively contribute to the morale and well being of youth in grades K - 6. The program focuses on assisting children in learning to make appropriate decisions about their own behavior. We also help youngsters overcome the stress and trauma associated with relocating and adjusting to new friends and peer groups. Each program has been designed to enhance your child's existing skills, promote physical fitness, encourage creativity, cultivate new interest areas, and develop lifelong recreation skills.

Sponsors interested in the program may begin their registration process by establishing/updating a profile on MilitaryChildCare.com (mcc.com). MCC.com ranks the Waiting List according to a family’s military/DoD eligibility category. Sponsors may choose their desired weeks during the summer. DoD Fees are charged according to family income and include all activities as well as USDA Breakfast, Lunch & Snack. Questions? Please call the Youth Center at (901) 874-5155.
